We’re open everyday throughout the summer holidays from 10am till 5pm
Our 2016 theme is ‘bats need friends’ – make a bat box and complete our bat themed maze stamp challenge.
The summer holidays are an exciting time of year but finding enough activities to fill the days (and not cost you an arm and a leg) can be a challenge for any family. That’s where we can help…
We pride ourselves on being a local, affordable day out with a ticket for a family of four (two adults and two kids) costing only £15 as well as discounts for seniors and free entry for infants (Under3).
So whether you’re young or old why not challenge yourselves to complete the stamp trail in record time, help feed breakfast to the residents of animal corner or be mesmerised by our giant bubbles.
Let your little one’s imagination run wild as they conquer the tyre mountain, build castles in the sand-pit or sail the seas on the pirate raft – with loads to do and different activities every day they’ll want to come again and again!
Over the years our friends in animal corner have included piglets, a calf, chickens, ducks, goats, hedgehogs and guinea pigs. If you arrive any day before 10.30am you can help us feed them their breakfast and hold the guinea pigs (Bubble and squeak) – many of our animal friends have strict diets so please don’t feed the animals at any other time. – FREE
You’re never too old to enjoy bubbles, with our special wands these giant bubbles are basically grown-up sized (at least that’s how we justify it to ourselves). Bubbles are available every day but unfortunately can be weather dependant – they don’t work so well in the rain. – FREE

Frequently asked questions
Can I bring my dog?
No, sorry we only allow guide dogs.
Is there disabled/buggy access?
The cafe area and toilets are accessible but please note that the maze itself can get quite bumpy if we’ve had a lot of heavy rainfall.
Do you take group bookings?
We have packages available for birthday parties and group bookings – please get in touch through our facebook page or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Can we buy food to takeaway?
All our burgers, chips and drinks are available to takeaway and can be purchased from reception. Feel free to call ahead and order.
We have our milk, ice-cream, dairy and beef produce available to purchase from the cafe to take home – please provide ample warning before leaving as some produce may need to be delivered from the farm. We have limited stocks so may be subject to availability – feel free to get in contact
Can we bring our own food?
We encourage you to try some of our beef, ice-cream and other locally sourced produce from the cafe but your welcome to bring your own picnics – please do not litter in the maze!
